Ten steps for a man to take so that his home may last longer
Last time when we talked about what a woman should do to keep her home happy; we promised that we will also talk about what men should do. We at Agasaro.com talked to some people to get to know what they think, and from those thoughts we derived the following ten points:
1. Love your wife: To those who believe in God, there is a commandment for men to love their wives. Their love shouldn’t stop or lag behind; it should instead increase so that their children also grow up feeling it.
2. No lies: A man should always tell his wife the truth. Some men say that all should not be said, but in the end these lies affect both the women and the men. So then it’s better to say the whole truth.
3. Ask for forgiveness: Men should learn how to humble themselves and ask for forgiveness when they are at fault.
4. Trust your wife: If you don’t trust your wife, then who do you trust? A woman will always trust her husband if the trust is returned. When lies start crawling in between them, then trust fades away.
5. Treat your wife as your equal: When a man thinks it’s time to look for a wife, it’s that he feels he is not self sufficient. There is no point then in treating your wife as if she is a slave with no rights. One other important thing is that you should share the chores and tasks with her.
6. Looking after your home: It is not only for the wife to look after their home. The husband should also, such as buying groceries, and looking after their children (if they have). The child’s education is a responsibility to both parents.
7. Having the same vision: The husband should share his vision with his wife, for they are one. It’s always best when the man and the wife decide together on how to spend their money and even other activities of the household.
8. Seeking advice from your wife: This step compliments step 7; as a man should do all things with his wife, so should he ask her for advice. This step also goes hand in hand with step 4 because when a man trusts his wife, it’s easy for him to seek for advice from her because he knows that it is precious. This doesn’t mean that the husband shouldn’t seek advice with his friends, it just means that when it comes to decision making, he should first consult with his wife to decide what is right for both of them.
9. Avoid falling out of love with your wife: A lot of men get bored of their wives’ body has especially after child birth where most grow fat. Men should love their wives regardless of their body changes. Love should not go away.
10. Love your family: A man should always love his family (wife and children) as well as his in-laws for the wife’s family has also become his. He should be the link between both in-laws. He should not heed to anyone who may want to destroy the family.
There are many other advice that cannot be exhausted here; you may even have some other ideas yourself. All in all, our main focus is to help in guarding our homestead. And we should know that it’s not very hard, all we really need is love above everything else because all the stated above are included in.
